Every venue, side by side
Volume, open interest, real-world markets, fees and funding for Variational, Arcus and Extended, with Lighter as a reference. Live figures from each venue's public API, refreshed every minute. Nothing here is advice.
How the figures line up
Each venue reports differently, so every figure is normalised before it is compared. Volume: Rolling 24h USD notional as each venue publishes it per market, summed over live perpetual markets only (spot and delisted books excluded). Open interest: Each open contract counted once: one side of the book on Arcus, Extended and Lighter (longs, which equal shorts), and traders' longs plus shorts on Variational, where the liquidity pool holds the other side of every trade.
VariationalPublic stats endpoint: per-market 24h volume and both open-interest sides. Real-world markets are told apart by product name. Daily history from this site's hourly archive (lifetime volume counter).
ArcusPublic market list (online markets). Real-world means its equities, index ETF and commodity ETF categories. Daily history from every market's daily candles.
ExtendedPublic market list (live perpetuals). Real-world means every non-crypto category, pre-IPO included. Daily history from the daily candles of its 40 largest markets.
LighterPublic order book list (active perpetuals, spot excluded), open interest in contracts valued at the mark price, funding from its funding-rates endpoint (8-hour rate annualised). Tickers only, so real-world markets are matched against Variational's real-world product names. Fees from Lighter's docs (standard account). No public daily history is readable, so its days come from the rolling 24h figure this site has recorded every hour since July 30, 2026. Shown here for comparison only: not a farm on this site.
Live figures: one-minute cache. Daily history: Arcus and Extended candles refresh every 15 minutes, the archive gains one reading an hour. Only public market data is read; nothing about any trader is recorded.
